The community in Rwanda is pleased to announce that Gisenyi-Rubavu District has won the bid to host the highly anticipated All-Liberian Festival, scheduled from December 29 to 31, 2024. After
a competitive bid process, Gisenyi stood out as the preferred location to host this vibrant cultural celebration.
Gisenyi situated along the shores of Lake Kivu, is renowned for its scenic beauty and welcoming atmosphere. This attractive town in Rubavu District offers a unique blend of Rwandan hospitality and stunning natural landscapes, making it an ideal venue for showcasing Liberia's rich culinary traditions and cultural festivities. With its beaches, lively atmosphere, and easy accessibility, Gisenyi promises to provide a perfect setting for attendees to immerse themselves in the full spectrum of Liberian culture, from delicious cuisine to traditional music and dance.
Here are the detailed attendance fees and packages for festival-goers traveling from various locations:
1. From Musanze
• Fee: 29,000 rwf
• Includes Round-trip transportation, 2 nights' accommodation, meals (dinner on arrival day and
breakfast on departure day) for 2 days, and access to all festival events.
2. From Kigali
• Fee: 35,000 rwf
• Includes Round-trip transportation, 2 nights' accommodation, meals (dinner on arrival day and
breakfast on departure day) for 2 days, and access to all festival events.
3. From Nyanza
• Fee: 35,000 rwf
• Includes Round-trip transportation, 2 nights' accommodation, meals (dinner on arrival day and
breakfast on departure day) for 2 days, and access to all festival events.
4. From Rwamagana
• Fee: 35,000 rwf
• Includes Round-trip transportation, 2 nights' accommodation, meals (dinner on arrival day and
breakfast on departure day) for 2 days, and access to all festival events.
5. From Gisenyi, Rubavu District (Host)
• Fee: 10,000 rwf
• Includes meals (dinner on arrival day and breakfast on departure day) for 2 days and access to
all festival events.
