Over 20 Liberians Graduate from Kigali Independent University with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees

[Kigali, Rwanda - December 13, 2024] – In a proud moment for the Liberian community in Rwanda, over 20 Liberians were conferred Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees during the recent graduation ceremony of Kigali Independent University (ULK). This remarkable achievement highlights the dedication and academic excellence of these individuals, who have worked tirelessly to reach this milestone.

The graduates, who pursued studies in various fields such as: Law, Computer Science, Electricity, Development Studies, etc., are a testament to the strength and resilience of Liberia's diaspora community. Their success not only underscores their personal commitment to education but also reflects the value of investing in knowledge as a tool for national and global development.

Speaking at the event, Ansu Sheriff, one of the graduates expressed gratitude for the opportunity to pursue higher education in Rwanda. "This achievement is not just mine but for my family and my country. It is a step forward in contributing to the development of Liberia," the graduate remarked.

The Liberian community in Rwanda, through the leadership extended warm congratulations to the graduates.
